Learning to Love Yourself Online Workshop

This online workshop is about learning to build and increase self-compassion (self-kindness and self-love) and including it in your everyday life. Often, we find it easy to give love and kindness to others, but not to ourselves.

It’s time for this to change.

Do we speak to ourselves like a good friend would?

More often than not, we find our inner voice dictating we are not good enough, or stupid or not worthy of the job or relationship or other things we may want. This can lead to procrastination, lack of motivation, sadness, anxiety, unfulfilling careers and relationships and the list goes on.

In short, our inner critic affects our mental and physical health.

This ‘Learning to Love yourself’ online workshop seeks to address our inner critic through ensuring self-love is included in our everyday routines, helping us to respond to ourselves differently, having a better relationship with ourselves and live a happier, more fulfilling life.

This special online workshop includes a combination of practical exercises, journal prompts, education around self-compassion and guided meditations. The guided meditations are written and led by the lovely Elvira (@wellbeing_with_elvira).

By the end of this ‘Learning to Love Yourself’ online workshop you will:

  • Have a set of personal self-love affirmations that you have created and are individual to you, along with an understanding of how best to use them
  • Have received guidance on how to use and include self-love in your everyday life
  • Have received beautiful heart centered meditations to enhance your experience (led and written by Well-Being with Elvira)
  • Have discovered ways to use self-compassion to help manage stress and/or difficult emotions
  • Have a complete understanding of what self-compassion is and how it can benefit you
  • Have explored how you currently look after yourself and how to include new and more effective ways of doing so that can fit easily into your daily routine

Get in touch for future dates.

It will be recorded, in case you are unable to make it live or you would like to watch it again.

A zoom link will be sent out to you on the day of the workshop.

A little bit about me

I’m a mindfulness teacher, life coach, ACT practitioner, wellness coach, NLP practitioner and homeopath. I have been working in the health and caring industries for 15 years. My specialist interest areas are building and increasing self-compassion and managing stress, overwhelm and anxiety. In my personal life I’ve also recently become interested in working with crystals (about to embark on a crystal healing course) and following the lunar cycle.

Aside from being passionate about mental well-being and all things holistic, I love to:

  • research the next family adventure (and experience them)
  • further my knowledge; I’ve always got my head in a book (both fiction and spiritual/holistic/psychology/self-compassion texts)
  • exercise (specifically swimming & pilates)
  • cook (and eat) a mean roast chicken (I’ve been told my roasties are the best)!
